  • Switch on your Android device to begin the setup process.
  • Navigate to Settings and tap the Mail option.
  • Touch Settings New email client.
  • Select the IMAP option in the incoming mail server section.
  • Type your Yahoo email id and password in the given fields to continue the setup process.
  • After entering the details in the given fields, tap the Manual Setup option.
  • Now you will be prompted to enter the incoming server settings and outgoing server settings details of the yahoo email server settings.
  • On the incoming server settings screen, enter the details given below.
  • In the username field: type your yahoo email id.
  • In the Password field: enter your yahoo email id’s password.

  • Security type: SSL
  • After filling the incoming server settings, tap the Next button available at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • Now the Outgoing server settings screen will appear. Fill the fields by referring to the information given below.

  • Authorization required: Yes.
  • Username: your Yahoo email id.

  • Power on your iPhone device and go to the Settings section.
  • Locate the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars option and select it.
  • Tap Add Account Other Add Mail Account.
  • Fill the Name, Email, Password, and Description fields using valid data.
  • After entering the basic information, navigate to the Incoming mail server settings section.
  • Choose the IMAP option. Now, enter the Hostname, Username, and password in the given fields

  • The SSL field should be marked as SSL, and the server port number should be 587.

Yahoo Email Incoming Server Settings

  • Launch the Outlook application on your system.
  • Click File Account Settings Add and remove accounts or change existing connection settings.
  • Now the Account Settings dialog box will appear on the screen.
  • Tap the New button. Now the Add New Account dialog box will appear.
  • Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types option by clicking the Radio button beside it.
  • Click the Next button. Now the Internet E-mail Settings screen will open.

  • Launch the Windows Live Mail application on your system.
  • Click Tools Accounts Mail Add Add Mail.
  • Enter your username in the Display Name text field.
  • Click the Next button.
  • Now you can enter your Yahoo mail address in the Email address and the reply address text fields.
