Recovering your Instagram email address and password using your mobile number

If you have linked your mobile number to your Instagram account, then you can recover your account credentials using it. To do so, follow the simple instructions given below.

Open the Instagram application on your mobile device or computer.

Choose Get help with signing up. If you know your account’s username, then enter in the given field. Otherwise, enter the mobile number linked to your account in the given field.

Now, an SMS message with a 6-digit OTP will be sent to your mobile number.

Note down the OTP and enter it in the given field.

Now, you’ll be successfully signed in to your account.

An alternative way to recover Instagram credentials

If you haven’t linked any mobile number to your Instagram account, then perform the below instructions.

Open the Instagram app.
Select Get help in signing in.
In the given field, enter your Instagram account’s username.
Click the need more help option followed by I can’t access this email or phone number.
Perform the on-screen instructions to recover your account.
