Email Setup Center

Webmail Pop3 And Smtp Settings

Web mail POP3 and SMTP settings are used to configure your email account manually on the email clients. POP3(Post Office Protocol version 3) is responsible for downloading the mail from the email server. SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is a protocol that sends emails from your Webmail.

On Webmail, you can set up the mail client for your email account with the help of server settings.

Carry out these steps to view your server settings on Webmail:

  • Open Webmail and log in to your account using the correct Email-Id and Password.
  • Select your username that is available at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Choose the Configure Mail Client option from the drop-down list.
  • Navigate to the bottom of the window and view the Server settings menu to do webmail Pop3 and SMTP settings.
  • Both Secure SSL/TLS settings and Non-SSL settings will be displayed under Manual Settings.
  • If you are configuring the Server settings manually on your email client with a secure connection, the port number will be 995 for POP3. The port number for SMTP is 465.
  • Enter the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server name as displayed on your Webmail account page.
  • If you are configuring the server settings with Non-SSL Settings, the port number will be 110 for POP3, and 587 for SMTP.
