  • Step 1:Make sure that your computer is turned on and is connected to the Internet.
  • Step 2:Go to the default web browser and open the Gmail page.
  • Step 3:Next, you need to log in to your Gmail account. Once done, select the Gear icon at the top of the page to open the Settings screen.
  • Step 4:Select the Accounts and Import section on the Settings screen. Choose the Add a mail account option near the Check mail from other accounts section.
  • Step 5:Now, you will find that a pop-up dialog box appears on the screen.
  • Step 6:Make sure that you provide the Hotmail email address in the Email address field and click Next.
  • Step 7:Choose Link accounts with the Gmailify option and click Next.
  • Step 8:Provide the password in the Enter password field and click Sign-in.
  • Step 9:Now, you can manage your Hotmail account from Gmail.

  • Step 10:Next, go back to the Settings screen and select the Accounts and Import section.
  • Step 11:Scroll down to select the Import mail and contacts option.
  • Step 12:Make sure that you provide the required Hotmail account details in the respective fields and click Yes to allow this app to use the data.
  • Step 13:Check whether the Import contacts checkbox is selected on the Import options screen and click on the Start import option.
  • Step 14:Wait until the Hotmail contacts get synced to your Gmail account.
