How To Fix Xtra Email Problems? 

Xtra Mail is a web-based email service, which you can access from a web browser or an email client application. You need to visit the official Spark website to sign in to the Xtra mail account. At times when you access the mail, you might face an email issue. Continue reading the below sections to know about the Xtra email problems and the different ways to fix them.

Xtra Email Problems

1. Verify the mail server settings

  • The error might be due to the incorrect email server settings. If you are facing trouble in receiving or sending the emails on the email application, then check the email server settings
  • Open the email application on the computer and go to the account settings of the Xtra email account to fix the Xtra email problems.
  • See if the incoming and outgoing mail server settings configured are correct.
  • For IMAP account:

  • Port number: 993
  • Security type: SSL
  • For POP3 account:
  • Incoming mail server:
  • Port number: 995
  • Security type: SSL
  • Outgoing mail server:
  • Port number: 465
  • Security type: SSL
  • If required, re-configure the email server settings and save it.

2. Try another browser

  • When you try to log in from a browser, but fail to do so, try to log in from any other browser.
  • If you are logging in to the Xtra mail account on a third-party email application and facing the sign-in error, try from the web browser.

3. Update the system software

In case you are using the built-in email application of the system like Windows Mail, Outlook, and Mac Mail, then make sure to update the system software.

4. Remove and re-add the account

  • After trying the steps said above, still if the email server does not connect, then remove the email account from the application.
  • Close the email application and relaunch it.
  • Add the email account again and configure the mail settings and fix the Xtra email problems.
