Microsoft Outlook allows you to add a signature to the email you send so that the mail can be more attractive and professional. If your Outlook signature loses formatting, restart the Outlook app and retry sending the mail with your signature. If the problem persists, carry out these steps.
Solution 1: Check the email format
- Step 1:In Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2013, or 2016, click the File menu at the top-left corner.
- Step 2:Select the Options tab from the left-side panel.
- Step 4:Go to the Compose messages section on the right-side.
- Step 5:Click the Compose messages in this format drop-down menu and choose the HTML option.
- Step 6:If you are using Outlook 2007, click the Tools menu at the top and select Options –> Mail Format.
- Step 7:Select the HTML option next to Compose in this message format.
- Step 8:Now, send a test email with your signature.
- Step 9:Check if the Outlook signature loses formatting. If yes, try the next solution.
