Comcast Email Stopped Working On iPhone

Has your Comcast email stopped working on iPhone? Several factors might be causing this issue and some of the reasons are given below.

Steps to fix the connectivity issues on your iPhone:

  • On your iPhone, open Settings and tap the Cellular button.
  • Scroll down to Mail and check if the slider has been enabled.
  • This will fix the internet connectivity issues on your iPhone.
  • If your iPhone is connected to a local wireless network, make sure that the Wi-Fi button is turned on.
  • Use your iPhone within the Wi-Fi range.
  • Turn on and off the Airplane mode.
  • Wait for a few minutes to restart the network connectivity.

Steps to check the configured email settings in the Mail app:

  • On your iPhone, navigate to Settings and tap the Passwords & Accounts button.
  • Choose your Comcast account and check the incoming & outgoing mail server settings.
  • Verify that the Incoming Server Host Name is filled with and make sure that 993 is selected in the Incoming Mail server port field.
  • Under Outgoing Mail Server, verify the outgoing mail server name and check 587 is selected in the Server Port field.
  • If the fetch settings are configured incorrectly, go to Settings and tap the Passwords & Accounts tab.
  • Under Accounts, tap the Fetch New Data button to allow the Mail app to check for new email messages.
  • If all the troubleshooting steps had failed to work, remove and reconfigure your Comcast account on your iPhone.
  • Make sure to configure the correct server settings while setting up your Comcast account again in the Mail app.
