Open a web browser on your computer connected to the Internet.

Navigate to the www.outlook.com website.

Click the Create free account button.

In the Create account dialog box, create and type the email address of your desire in the New email address box.

Similarly, in the Password field, type the security key for your account.

Now, if you wish to receive promotional emails from Microsoft, then enable the Send me promotional emails from Microsoft option by marking the checkbox beside it.

Otherwise, uncheck the box and click the Next button.

Now, the Add details dialog box will open.

Type your Hotmail account’s first and last name in the corresponding fields.

Click Next. Now, from the drop-down menus, select your country/region and your date of birth.

After entering the required details, click Next.

Now, the dialog box titled Add security info will open.

Type your phone number in the given field and click the Send code button.

Now, a verification code will be sent to the entered phone number.

Type the received code in the Enter the access code box and click Next.

If you haven’t received any verification code from Microsoft, then click the I didn’t get a code button and follow the on-screen instructions.
