How To Do 1and1 Imap Settings?  

1and1 is a web hosting company by Ionos. You can use your 1and1 email account with any other email program and do your 1and1 Imap settings.

 

Let us just add that whatever email account you want to connect the 1and1 account to, you can easily choose the automatic configuration. The first step is to choose if you are opting for a POP3 or an IMAP configuration.

  • Open the Email application to which you want to add the 1and1 email account.
  • Click the Menu option from the menu bar of the Email application.

The common information required for any email settings is the Username and Password.

  • Username: the username will be the email account of 1and1.
  • Password: the password will be the 1and1 email account password.

  • Server address- imap.ionos.com
  • Port (Secured)- 993
  • Port (Unsecured)- 143
 

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER 

 
  • Server address- smtp.ionos.com
  • Port (Secured SSL)- 465
  • Port (Secured TLS)- 587
　

POP ACCOUNT SETTINGS:

     
  • Server address- pop.ionos.com
  • Port (Secured)- 995
  • Port (Unsecured)- 110    
    •  

OUTGOING MAIL SERVER

  • Server address- smtp.ionos.com
  • Port (Secured)- 465
  • Port (Secured TLS)- 587
  • Finally you will complete your 1and1 Imap settings.
