First, open the Outlook application and click the File menu.
Check whether ‘Info’ is selected and then click the Add Account button.
Now, type the AOL email address and then click the Connect button.
Next, type the AOL email account password.
Once the password is entered, click the Connect button. The settings are complete, click the Done button.
The AOL mail is now synced with Microsoft Outlook.
The AOL email can also be synced with the Microsoft Outlook manually.
First, click the File menu and select Info on both Outlook 2010 and 2013.
Next, click the Add Account button. Now, choose the radio button that is located next to the Manual setup or additional server type.
Click the radio button next to POP or IMAP and then click Next.
Choose IMAP from the drop-down list in the POP and IMAP Account Settings window.
Next, ensure to fill in all the details in the Account settings window.
Click the More settings option and then select the Outgoing server tab.
Tick the box next to the My Outgoing server (SMYP) requires authentication.
Now, select the Advanced tab and then click the pull-down list to choose SLL.
Enter 993 in the Incoming server tab.
Enter 465 in the Outgoing server tab and click the OK button. In the Add Account window, click the Next option.
Click the Close option once the process has been correctly done.
The AOL mail will be added to the Outlook and then click the Finish button.
